As your children are growing up, they are losing more and more teeth and the importance of oral hygiene is at an all time high. Early this year, Temecula Dentist Dr. Skidmore and his staff volunteered at two local elementary schools in Murrieta and Temecula Valley. Several dentists in Temecula, including Dr. Skidmore gave the kids in need dental screenings and taught them how to take care of their teeth. They had a great time teaching the kids about dentistry in Temecula and oral hygiene. Dental Screenings are now a new California Law as of July 2007, which mandate that your child receive a dental check-up 12 months before your child enters his/her first school year.
Here are some important tips from our Temecula dentist’s office to keep your children’s teeth healthy:
- Take your child to the dentist twice a year.
- Brush teeth at least twice a day.
- Limit sodas and candy
